No time for blogging ):

So Chase is a wonderful baby. The problem is Hannah seems to need me even more now and it's so hard making sure she gets mommy time too ): I thought I'd be able to blog just as much as before but now I just find myself having time to go to breastfeeding.com to ask questions about the frustrating subject. That is a whole other blog itself.

I need to get some rest. We have to go to Rex tomorrow to do some paper signing. Hope to post more soon.

I've been miserable...

Which is why I haven't posted a blog in what? Months? Well... we're now down to the wire. I am soooo ready to have this baby! And I'm sure everyone else is ready too. It annoys me when people tell me that I'm "so whiney!" because they have NO idea what I'm feeling or what my body feels like. It's fine though. It will end soon and I'll be holding this baby boy in my arms.... so strange. I can't believe I'm going to have a son.

I packed his bag tonight (: That seemed to get me excited and slightly bring me out of my funk. Clothes shopping for a boy sure proves to be difficult for me though. I guess I'm just not use to it.

I have a 1 week appt. tomorrow so here is hoping for the best. Last week I was dilated 2 1/2 cm and my cervix looked thin so maybe when Dr. Mong checks it will help things along. I sure hope so...

Sleepless in NC

This is just got to end. I can't take it anymore and I don't care how many pregnant women have said it... I mean it with everything in me. I can't even begin to describe to you all of the things that make me miserable every day and every night. Finally the heartburn is a bit more under control thanks to Zantac. But...The other problem I'm having that I don't care to share details for your own good, it's freaking unnatural. And to have an spouse who just thinks it's nothing... That you grow a baby with no strings attached and then happily pop it out... does not help the situation. I knew writing about it would make me more angry so for now I'm going to go and lay here awake, miserable.

Wipe Out!!

So last night I got this really cute layout (the one applied now) and thought I'd test it out first on my test blog.  I had worked pretty hard on my blog layout and wanted to save it so if I liked the new layout I was going to do just that.  Well..... OOPS!!! I chose THE WRONG BLOG!!!  Wiped out all my hard work.  I guess it's ok though... it turned out pretty nice (:  I guess that's what I get for not being able to sleep... I no longer realize what I'm doing.  *SIGH* I need this child OUT!!!!!!

The "ghost" fever

Hello again...♥
Wednesday afternoon Hannah began running a fever.  She was lying in the bed with me and I noticed she was radiating heat!!  So I took the thermometer (keep in mind we've found Hannah playing with it on more than just one occasion) and took her temp under her arm.  WOW!!! It was pretty high... I can't remember what it was now but I gave her some motrin and watched it from there.

At about 2:30 am, Yes I was up, I noticed that Hannah was shivering really bad ):  I hate it when she does that!  I took her temp again and it was 103.6!!!!!  Normally I am the one that freaks out.... but this time Kevin was the one who decided we should take her to the ER.  So in her pjs and elmo slippers....

 off we went to Wake Med North.  There wasn't anyone there when we got there.... I was expecting a room full of weirdos and sickos, LOL! Anyways, poor Hannah is so sleepy and hot.  Finally we're called into the triage and the nurse takes down useless information.  She did take her temp again under her tongue and that was the first time Hannah had ever done it that way!! I was proud (:  Then we go into the little room to wait for the dr.  Hannah sorta pepped up once we were in there and entertained herself by playing on her daddy's phone.  The nurse came in and took a throat culture and then wanted a urine sample.  She asked me if I thought Hannah could pee in a cup on the potty and I thought for certain she could.  I certainly didn't want her to have to use a catheter ):  So the pee in a cup was successful and Hannah was promised a popcicle (the doctor did say her throat looked a little red) and since she peed in the cup she got a treasure out of the treasure box.  Hannah picked an orange frog who's eyeballs bulged out when squeezed.  Both tests came back negative and the dr. decides she's fine and it's just a "ghost" fever.  We were advised to continue to alternate the motrin and tylenol and were sent on our tired way back home.  Except we stopped at WalMart to get a better thermometer.  We think that maybe our old one read the wrong temp and that it wasn't as high as we thought it was, thus sending us running to to ER, worried.  Ha. Well... this one seems to work nicely.  It's one of those you stick in the ear.  It's pretty neat (:  

Hannah is feeling better now.... still has a low grade fever but with no other symptoms no one will want to see her so I guess we wait.  I'm just glad she seems to be feeling better!!!

Tyler has been staying with my mother in law since all the remodeling and the last thing we have left to do is have the kitchen floors replaced.  That won't be for 2-3 more weeks and I'm just starting to really want him home ):  Here's my little booger head although now he already looks different ):
